La Paz – Uyuni    5 days

This programme is made for those wanting to avoid long journeys. You do the Tour from the beginning and you see more. Amazing Sajama National Park, Coipasa Salar, Lago Poopó and Thunupa Volcano. We enter the Salt Flat from a different area and you get to see an amazing Sun rise at the Salt Lake. This Tour starts in La Paz and finishes in uyuni City or San Pedro de Atacama.

Programme

1st day.- 07:00 Departure in our 4 x 4 vehicle. After 4 hours we will get to the little Village called Sajama. Some free time to enjoy the area  and Lunch.  In the afternoon we’ll visit the hot springs, and walk around for a while in this magnificent place.

Overnight in Sajama Village

2nd day 07:30 Early departure heading South to  Coipasa Salt Lake. Scenery is amazing and untouched. Since this is a Jeep Tour, our driver will stop several times for you to take pictures and enjoy nature

18:30 We will enter the Uyuni Salt Lake by the north to finally arrive in Jirira at the base of Thunupa Volcano. Basic lodging.

3rd  day.- 08:00 1 hr drive to the mummies place

10:00 Short walk to El Mirador from where you will get the most beautiful view of the Salt Lake.

12:30  Lunch at the village and then we will carry on to Fish Island.

16:30 Drive for 2 hrs to San Juan. You will get basic lodging.

4th day.- 08:00 One desert,  colorful lagoons,  Volcanoes, weird rock- formations for  a day full of beautiful scenery.

17:30 Arrival in Laguna Colorada. Basic lodging

5th   day.- 05:30 Early drive to “El Sol de mañana”. You will see the geysers and Hot Springs.

12:30  Lunch at Green Lagoon, this is the extreme South of the Country. Those who have booked the Tour to finish in San Pedro de Atacama – Chile will take the transfer. The rest of the group will head back up to Uyuni.

18:30 Arrival at Uyuni.

Next combinations for La Paz, Potosí or  Sucre leave from 20:00 to 21:00

With 3 days notice. Only for groups of five to seven people.
