La Paz to Rurrenabaque

“THE NO NOISE EXPERIENCE”

This is the tour to feel the Jungle very close. Why we call it “the no noise Experience”? yes, you are right. There’s no motor noise, just the Jungle and us floating downstream one of the major Amazon Rivers in Bolivia. Five days starting from La Paz or Coroico to finally end in Rurrenabaque. Complete Jungle Tour for you to see all the layers of the Rainforest + side walks in the Jungle Definitely a good option to see and feel the Amazon Rainforest! Fishing is included! 1st day.- 05:00 to 05:15. Pick up at your Hotel (Please be punctual) (2.5 hrs drive)  07:45 to 08:00 pick up from Coroico’s main Plaza across from the Church. Breakfast 09:00 4 Hrs. drive to Teoponte where our guide will be waiting for the group with the raft ready.  13:30 Lunch. 15:00 Departure on the raft from the Banks of Kaka River. After about 2 hrs. we’ll get to the first camping place that can be any isolated beach (Dry season April-Dec) or the yard of a community on the way (Wet season Dec-April)  

2nd day.- 08:00 A On this day we will have our first walk in the Rainforest. We will head to the Falls of   Retamas where we will be able to swim for a while in a Paradisiacal Natural Pool! After this beautiful walk we will get on the raft again to keep going downstream to the next camp. You can     have a nap or swim in the river when ever you want. You will also have a Night-Walk in the Jungle!

3rd day.- It’s essential to have a wide brim hat & strong sun block as sun is very, very strong, you also     have to bring purifying pills for water, there is a Village on 2nd or 3rd day where you can buy         bottled water, after that you have to use your purifying pills for water from the streams. We will have another walk in the Jungle and then head to the next camp.

4th day.- We will go further downstream and macaws are frequently seen. The river changes all the        time and we will enjoy it completely. We will get to a point where we will camp and our guides will          teach you how to fish like locals do. Camp fire at night (dry season April- early Dec)

5th day.- Our last walk will take us this time to a nice view point. Then we will just flow down river to       arrive in Rurrenabaque between 15:00 and 17:00. In the unlikely event we are behind schedule on      the last day the guide will arrange a motorised canoe to pull us to Rurrenabaque.

* Times for departures, meals and activities may vary as they depend on different factors. The guide will tell the group every morning about the day programme.

DEPARTURES: Scheduled for every Saturday. Other days with 3 days notice. Min 2 pax.

GROUP SIZE:  08 people max. 02 people min. 

INCLUDING: 4 nights acc-camping, tent & mattress, transport, raft, guide, cook, entrance fees, meals 5 B – 5 L – 4 D.

NOT INCLUDED: Sleeping bag, water (bring purifying pill) & drinks, cigarettes, snacks, tips.
