FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO
THE DEEP RAINFOREST

If you are short of time and want to see as much as possible of our country then you don’t have to worry any more. This programme gives you the chance to see the High Andes, the Puna, the Cloud Forest and the Rainforest as well as river navigation on a Jungle Raft made of inner tubes + a trek in the Rainforest

Programme.-
1st day.- 10:00 Meeting time at our office. We will drive for 1.5 hrs. to the base of Huayna Potosi from where we will start and camp by an Andean Lake. 4 hrs walk
2nd day.- On this day we get to Chucura and will start walking on Pre-Inca pavement. From Chucura is possible to see the Cloud Forest right below. (Total walk 5-6 hrs)
3rd day.- . We will have a twelve hundred meters drop in just half an hour so we will be walking in the steaming Jungle for the next two days. (total walk 5-7 hrs)
4th day.- On this day we will get to the end of the Pre-Inca path and after lunch will get to Coroico. You will sleep in a Hotel with swimming pool and all the facilities
5th day.- Now, we will drive for about 2 hrs to place called Caranavi to start with the Jungle Rafting. We will navigate Coroico River for almost the whole day in this paradisiacal area. Camp by the River Banks
6th day.- It is our second day navigating and now we will get for lunch to a community where you’ll be able to visit plantation of different fruits and get to know the people from the community and share dinner with them
7th day.- We will get to place from where we will start the Jungle trek after only half an hour. Now we will walk into the Forest and get explanations from the guides about Flora all the time. Camp in the middle of the Jungle
8th day.- We continue our trek in the Deep Rainforest (Only our company visits this area) and camp again in the Jungle very close to the river.
9th day.- one hour after breakfast we will get on the raft again to navigate for 2 our from where we will take the car back to La Paz (7hrs) . Arrive in La Paz at 20:00
*Times for departures, meals and activities may vary as they depend on different factors. The guide will tell the group every morning about the day programme.

*Walking sticks, purifying pills, *sleeping bag, water, *water bottle, drinks, cigarettes, snacks, entrance fee-50 Bs, tips, porter for personal belongings.
*Some items not included can be rented from our company.
AVAILABLE: English Speaking guide or translator (additional 25 usd to be paid by the whole group, not per person) when ever we have one request for English Speaking guide or translator, the rest of the group will pay for it.
PORTERS, MULES, DONKEYS?
Porters are only for equipment and food. If you have extra luggage than you will have to hire another porter at an extra cost. Extra pack animal 15 usd per day
COOK?
Our guide is the cook at the same time
FOOD?
Big meals are breakfast and dinner. We provide massive sandwiches for lunch though.
VEGGIE FOOD?
Veggie food is a step better than basic.
